Customer Care Representative

We are seeking experienced applicants to join Stamps.com's dynamic team Customer Care Representatives in Playa Vista, CA. We are a fast-growing call center that currently operates Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (no weekends!).
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator that is able to identify customer issues, provide meaningful solutions, and go "above and beyond" with each customer interaction.
This is an exciting position that provides you with exposure to the inner workings of an Internet-based software company. Stamps.com hires from within as much as possible and your Customer Care Representative position will open up opportunities to be promoted to positions in other departments. Our CCRs have gone on to be part of our Commerce, Accounting, Reception and even Corporate Sales and Marketing teams!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing world-class Customer Care via phone, e-mail, and other communication channels. The majority of the interaction will be over the phone in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Providing product benefits to potential customers to improve conversion rates.
- Explaining the value of the service to existing customers looking to cancel their membership.
- Assisting customer in a professional and empathetic manner with account inquiries, online store orders, and general presales/retention questions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a "customer first" attitude and be service-oriented, friendly and possess a positive attitude.
- Outstanding written and verbal skills are required.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to handle multiple PC applications at once.
- Strong sense of urgency, follow-through and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3+ years of previous call center experience.
- Bilingual is a plus.
