Senior Software Developer (C++)

Position:

Our development team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to further our rapid growth and innovation. The position requires vast knowledge of Win32 application development using MS Visual C++. The ideal candidate will have participated at all levels of the software development process, will be self-motivated, and be driven to deliver rock-solid enterprise software.

• UI development in support of our flagship postage printing applications and service.
• Design, create and maintain UI support code.
• Projects can range depending on interest and experience, but may involve such areas as custom controls in both MFC and Win32, COM, WinSock, Windows APIs, and standard template library.
• Provide technical direction for software design, project planning and documentation.
• Assist QA in understanding feature implementations, test case development and troubleshooting.

• 5+ years Visual C++ development experience on the Windows platform
• Strong C++ skills, include templates (metaprogramming and generics are a plus)
• Experience writing custom UI code, both in MFC and Win32
• Strong analysis and design skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Commercial software development
• Standard template library
• Web and/or .net/C# development
