STAMPS.COM ANNOUNCES USPS SHIPPING INTEGRATION WITH SHOPIFY

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – May 27, 2014 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to nearly 500,000 customers, today announced a new integration with Shopify, the leading commerce platform that allows anyone to easily sell online, at their retail location, and everywhere in between.

The integration gives Shopify customers new and effective methods to simplify their order fulfillment process. Using Stamps.com, retailers can automatically import Shopify orders and print shipping labels for all USPS mail classes, both domestic and international. They also have access to the new BestRate shopping engine, which helps customers identify the most cost-effective mail class using box size, delivery time guarantee and shipping zone. Stamps.com also posts order status details such as the USPS tracking number, shipping date and mail class directly to the Shopify customer’s account. Additional Stamps.com features now available include hidden postage, thermal printer support, automated customs forms, return shipping labels and more.

Shopify supports more than 100,000 online stores selling over $4 billion in products. Retailers can choose from more than 100 design templates for their website or can create a custom design for their online store. Shopify also allows retailers to instantly accept credit cards, without requiring a payment gateway, with one low rate for all major credit cards when using Shopify Payments. For retail locations, Shopify offers a Point of Sale system, which seamlessly integrates product, order and customer information between an ecommerce site and physical store. The company also provides Shopify Mobile, which allows retailers to accept payments from a mobile phone.

“With Stamps.com, online retailers have access to our brand new USPS BestRate shopping engine, which locates the most cost effective mail class option that meets their shipping requirements,” said Sebastian Buerba, Stamps.com chief marketing officer. “Not only does this new integration ensure that Shopify customers are getting their packages delivered to buyers in the most cost-effective manner, but the BestRate shopping engine can also automate their entire shipping process, thereby reducing their time spent on order fulfillment.”

“The integration with Stamps.com simplifies the entire fulfilment process for our customers, from printing the labels down to finding the best rate,” said Harley Finkelstein, chief platform officer, Shopify. “Streamlining these processes allows our merchants to focus on other aspects of their businesses.”

The Shopify integration is available for free to new and existing customers of Stamps.com.
