Buy Insurance Online - No Forms, No Lines
Buying insurance through Stamps.com is a simple, hassle-free process.
Step 1. Log into the Stamps.com software. Click Postage
Step 2. Click Mailing or Shipping
Step 3. Enter the amount to insure and select Stamps.com Insurance
Step 4. (Optional) In Shipping you can type "Insured by Stamps.com" in the Memo Line
You will be billed for the insurance service at the end of your billing cycle, together with your service fees.
Receipts
You can view and print out a receipt of the transaction by clicking Acivity -> Insurance
Package Drop-off With Stamps.com Insurance, you don't need to present your package at the Post Office™. Your package is insured by Stamps.com and will not require any special forms or special handling.
Simply ship your package as usual:
Hand the package to your mail carrier
Drop it into a mail collection box
Hand it to a clerk at your Post Office without standing in line
