How to access your Outlook contacts from within Stamps.com

If you are printing postage and addresses together, you can directly access any Outlook address from the Stamps.com software. There is no need to import or export files.

Stamps.com will verify and correct the address against the USPS® database and give you the option to save any corrections back into Outlook.

  1. In the Stamps.com software, click the PRINT POSTAGE tab.

  2. Click the address book button, located next to the delivery address box.

  3. Select Microsoft Outlook as your address book. Stamps.com will automatically load your Outlook contacts. Select the addresses for which you wish to print postage. Click OK.

  4. If you selected more than one address, Stamps.com will validate your addresses when you click OK. If you only selected one address, Stamps.com will validate your address when you click PRINT on the Print Postage screen.

  5. Stamps.com will check your addresses against the USPS database. You will need to accept any changes. To save the address changes directly in Outlook, check the box in the lower left.

  6. When all addresses have been accepted (if you selected multiple addresses), click OK.
