Customer Support: How to Request an Insurance Refund

You may cancel a Stamps.com Insurance purchase if you misprint your postage or simply change your mind before shipping the package.

To receive a full refund, you must submit your refund request before midnight of the mailing date printed with the postage.

    Step 1. Log into the Stamps.com software
    Step 2. Click Activity, click Insurance
    Step 3. Select a package from the list. Click Refund
The purchase and cancelation transaction will appear in your next account statement email.

Please note that if you have a postage misprint, you must still submit a separate Misprint Refund Request.
