 How to Request a Postage Refund
Important: Beginning August 21, 2004, all shipping labels refunds must be submitted on-line within 48 hours of the time the labels were printed. (We will no longer accept any Shipping Label refund claims submitted via regular mail).
To submit a Shipping Label refund claim on-line, simply use the Account Activity tab found in the Stamps.com software.
- Log into the Stamps.com software.
- Click on "Printed" on the left.
- Select the appropriate checkboxes for each print you would like refunded.
Note: e/Refund requests must be made separately from "Mail-In" requests.
- Click the "Request Refund" button to submit your request.
- If your mailpiece was a qualified e/Refund, you will see the following dialog confirming your selection(s):
- Select the checkbox next to the statement certifying that you understand that false submissions are subject to federal mail fraud regulations.
- Click the "Submit" button.
Note: Qualified e/Refund claims must be submitted within 10 days from the time the postage was printed. You will be notified via email when your account has been credited. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
- If your mailpiece was a qualified Mail-In refund, a new browser window will open to the PC Postage® Refund Request form.
- Review your claim submission for accuracy.
- Select the reason that best describes your refund request for each claim.
- Click the "Create Printer Ready Form" button.
- Print the PC Postage Refund Request form by selecting the print button at the bottom of the page.
- Sign the form to certify that you understand that false submissions are subject to federal mail fraud regulations.
- Mail the signed form and all qualified evidence of printing* to the address located at the bottom of the form.
Note: Qualified Mail-In claims must be submitted within 60 days of the printed mailing date on the postage. You will be notified via email when your account has been credited. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.
