Returns and Exchange Policy for Plan Packages

Stamps.com stands behind the products it offers to its customers.

Any items sent to you pursuant to your service plan shall be your personal property after the trial period. If you wish to cancel during the 4-week trial period, you must return your equipment (e.g. scale, printer, etc) and supplies (e.g. label rolls) to Stamps.com in its original condition at your expense and comply with all of Stamps.com's Returns Policy.

  • The equipment must be returned with prepaid shipping and should be received within 15 calendar days of your cancellation date together with the return form completed. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable and returns shipped C.O.D. or postage due will not be accepted.
  • We cannot accept items returned and received more than 15 days after the cancellation date for any reason.
  • The return will not be honored if the Mailing Package is modified, damaged, or missing.
  • All items returned must be sent with DELIVERY CONFIRMATION and you may want to consider using insurance. It is imperative to be able to confirm your return with a Tracking Number or Return Receipt.
  • In the case of a defective item, Stamps.com will honor the applicable (if any) warranty period. In such an event, please contact Customer Support within 45 days of the sign-up date.

FAILURE TO RETURN THE PLAN PACKAGE: We will charge a replacement charge (as specified in your Service Plan Agreement) for failure to return the plan package pursuant to the instructions herein within fifteen (15) days of your cancellation date during the applicable trial period.

Return Instructions

To return an item for trial period returns after a service plan cancellation, please follow these steps:

1. Print out and complete the Returns and Exchange Form. (PDF format). Enclose the completed form in your package. We recommend that you make a copy of the completed form for your own records.

2. Send the merchandise you are returning (with all of its original packaging) AND the completed form to the address below. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you include your Order Number in the mailing address. Your Order Number can be found in your Order Confirmation email and/or on your original package.

IF YOU DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR ORDER NUMBER IN THE DELIVERY ADDRESS, YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED.

3. Mail your package. Please note that packages shipped C.O.D. or postage due will NOT be accepted. Electronic DELIVERY CONFIRMATION is required for product returns after a service plan cancellation.

Exchange for Replacement

If you received items in the plan package that are defective and/or damaged during shipment, please contact Customer Support within 45 days of the sign-up date.

Replacement of damaged or defective items returned after 45 days will be at the discretion of Stamps.com. Stamps.com will honor all applicable warranty periods (if any).
