How it works

Nope. All you need is the computers and printers you already have in your office and a Stamps.com Enterprise account. Your users can print on plain paper, your own envelopes or labels, or our NetStamps labels, which you can use just like regular postage stamps.

You can ship letters, flats, overnights and packages through USPS, UPS and other major carriers. You can also:

  • Save with automatic discounts, or connect existing carrier accounts to access your negotiated rates
  • Compare rates to save
  • Evaluate delivery times
  • Consolidate and track all mailing and shipping through one simple interface

With Stamps.com Enterprise reporting, you can track your company’s mailing and shipping spending to the penny! Our reporting tools give visibility into:

  • Postage expenses by user or office location
  • Postage balances, purchases and printing
  • Postage spend by mail class, special services and reference code
  • Expenses related to supplies, insurance and more

Administrative and Billing

Stamps.com Enterprise provides transparent, consolidated billing with flexible purchase and payment options, including: credit cards, P-cards, postage reserve accounts, and ACH/credit or ACH/debit.

Each account is password protected. A secret question is the only way the password can change, and the administrator set the secret question to control the use of the software. An administrator can also cancel a location or delete a user at any time.

Companies love that they can track each postage amount printed back to the individual computer. Knowing this information prevents employee fraud. Additionally, reference codes provide insight into what people are spending postage funds on and provide an opportunity for easy expense tracking.

Absolutely! Stamps.com requires an Internet connection and generally does not have any challenges connecting through your company’s firewall.

In general, the Stamps.com application must be installed on individual PCs. We are compatible with Citrix servers. If you have another server application, we can provide you with MSI installers. The cost is the same as our regular corporate service.

In some cases, if your users do not have administrative rights to their machine, an ID representative will have to do the initial install. We handle the account set-up on the back-end here, so total time on your end is only about two minutes. From time to time, we will require that your software be updated (e.g. when postal rates change). Over the last several years, we have averaged less than one mandatory update each year. Our update generally takes less than two minutes to complete.

Yes. stamps.com is a licensed product, and as such require distinct log-ins per user. We do this to protect our customer’s security, so you can track postage printed from each user at each PC, as well as close accounts at will if you have employee turnover.
