“Stamps.com understands that our small business, enterprise and advanced shipping customers are continually looking for ways to save money and time in this challenging economic climate,” said Stamps.com president and CEO Ken McBride. “The US Postal Service and PC Postage continues to be an affordable shipping solution.”

The new USPS rates will go into effect Monday, May 11 and includes a 2-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail stamp to 44 cents. PC Postage® includes everything customers will need to calculate the new rates, and unlike postal meters and other postage vendors, Stamps.com does not charge any fees to update rates.

“We have a postage meter and I’m none-too-happy about the fees ranging from Postage Meter Rental Fees, Postage Refilling Fees, Rate Change Card Fees to Maintenance Fees! We are under lease until next April and then it’s gone, and we’ll be 100% on Stamps.com,” said Stamps.com customer Shellie Benton, Benton Insurance Agency. “Stamps.com Customer Service is helpful and a pleasure to work with. We love our Stamp.com account! It saved us time and money!”

PC Postage is a software-based service that allows customers to use existing PCs to calculate and print valid U.S. postage for letters, packages and international mail without having to go to the Post Office. PC Postage tracks postal spending using customers’ client codes and can recommend optimal delivery methods, formats and more. Small businesses, enterprises and advance shippers can manage their mailing and shipping operations more efficiently and securely than with postage meters or other shipping software. PC Postage offers exclusive USPS rate discounts for Priority and Express Mail which are not available with a postage meter or at the Post Office. For businesses, Stamps.com is up to 80% cheaper than a traditional postage meter and allows for easy tracking and reporting of postage expenditures.
