PC Postage software selected in “Best Electronic Commerce Solution” category

LOS ANGELES – April 28, 2011 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS® postage online and shipping software to approximately 400,000 customers, today announced that its PC Postage Version 8.7 software has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious CODiE™ Awards in the “Best Electronic Commerce Solution” category.

Being selected as a finalist is a unique and important distinction, as the CODiEs are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. Established by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the CODiEs recognize excellence and achievement in the business software, digital content, and education technology industries. Winners of the 2011 CODiE Awards will be announced May 23rd.

“It’s an honor to be a CODiE Awards finalist and I’m very excited for us to be recognized for our technological achievements,” said Stamps.com President and CEO Ken McBride. “Our goal is to create mailing and shipping solutions that save you money, give you control of your time, and make life easier. Being selected as a CODiE finalist means Stamps.com is achieving that goal in the eyes of our peers.”

PC Postage is an online and software-based solution that allows customers to use their PC and printer to calculate and print valid U.S. postage for letters, packages and international mail without having to go to the Post Office. Individuals, businesses and shippers are able to manage their mailing and shipping operations more efficiently and securely than with a postage meter.

About the CODiE Awards
The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now the Software & Information Industry Association, so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other’s work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose – to showcase the software and information industry’s finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.
