STAMPS.COM ANNOUNCES USPS SHIPPING INTEGRATION WITH PROSTORES
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – August 22, 2013 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to over 450,000 customers, today announced its new USPS shipping integration with ProStores, an e-commerce platform that enables small businesses to sell products and services online from their own websites. ProStores is a unit of eBay Inc.
This new integration offers ProStores customers an effective new method for order fulfillment. With Stamps.com, customers can automatically import orders and print shipping labels for all USPS mail classes, domestic and international. Once a shipping label has been printed, customers will see order status details such as the USPS tracking number, ship date, and mail class posted to their ProStores account. Additional Stamps.com features now available to ProStores customers include postage rate discounts, hidden postage, thermal printer support, automated customs forms, return shipping labels, and more.
ProStores is an ideal solution for eBay sellers who want to expand their business by selling products on their own website along with on the eBay marketplace. A ProStores storefront easily imports a seller’s eBay listings, controls product inventory and allows them to manage both eBay listings and their website sales from one administrative interface. This e-commerce solution is scalable as the seller’s business grows, and charges no set-up fee.
“It’s critical that a growing small business focus on revenue-generating activities and not waste time on administrative tasks,” said Ken McBride, Stamps.com Chairman and CEO. “This integration gives customers the ability to print USPS shipping labels from multiple e-commerce channels, saving valuable time.”
The integration is available at no additional cost to new and existing customers of Stamps.com.
