Minimum dimensions

Packages must be no smaller than 6’’ by 4’’ by 0.75’’.

Maximum dimensions

Dimensions can’t be greater than 108’’, and the width and length combined can’t be greater than 165’’.

Minimum weight

There’s no minimum weight for a package; however, weights less than 1 lb are counted as 1 lb.

Maximum weight

Weight per package can’t exceed 150 lbs in dimensional weight.

Standard Package Weight Limits

Packages upwards of 150 lbs aren’t deliverable with UPS Worldwide Express, but can instead be sent with UPS Worldwide Express Freight to over 50 countries and territories in under three business days. 

Address Correction

Packages posted to incorrect or incomplete addresses can still be salvaged. UPS Worldwide Express lets you change the address of a package already in delivery starting at $13.40 per package.

Exceeding Standard Package Limits

Packages heavier than 70 lbs, or greater in length than 48’’ or wider than 30’’, are subject to an “additional handling” fee of $10.85 per package. This includes items encased in non-cardboard shipping containers, such as wood or metal.

Package items to withstand multiple handling points and potential climate changes. Wrap items individually and use adequate cushioning. Seal packages with pressure-sensitive or reinforced tape. Place shipping labels on the top surface of the package and attach all required customs documentation.
